Thoughts on the whole Georgia body debacle

I just thought I'd post some of my thoughts on the whole Georgia Bigfoot body debacle. I had such high hopes for this situation. I thought, " This is it! We've waited almost 50 years for this!" And then I saw the picture of the body in the freezer. Then I thought, "Oh, come on!" It didn't look like the Bigfoot I saw back in 1991. I was sitting on the fence with this whole thing but leaning towards it being all a hoax. After today my fears were confirmed. It is a hoax. Always has been. I don't believe there even was a body to begin with. This not only makes all the other, more legitimate researchers look like idiots in the public eye, but it may hurt Bigfoot research for a long while. We as researchers were already questionable in the public eye; now this comes out- and it's the talk of every news agency all across the country- and any credibility we had is probably gone now. I hope I'm wrong. But I will keep trudging on. Thanks for listening.

Do you hold JC accountable?

No I don't really hold JC Johnson accountable, or anyone else on his team. If anything, he's only guilty of association with Biscardi. I feel he was probably duped just like the rest of us.

I thought it would turn out like this, I just wish it hadn't.

But Thunderhawk, I also think you are underestimating the sheer tenacity of the normal Sasquatch researcher!! (if there is such a thing as normal!) After studying them, and the news people for going on 27 years now, my vote is for the researchers!!! Nothing short of death makes a researcher stop. The press, on the other hand, they are fickle. Something new will catch their eye, and they will be off at a gallop like the Paparazzi!!!

A researcher will not even miss a beat at this bump in the road, and tomorrow they will be back on track, doing what they love best, hunting up clue, talking to other researchers, going to shows, and blogging about what they are up to. This is our life, how can we stop?

Hang in there! This is only another bump in the road.
